Little Missouri Bay State Park consists of 6000 acres of badlands.  By hiking or riding the park's extensive trail system you will see, close-up, the beautiful badlands carved by nature over the years.

Don't forget your camera!

Sculpted by nature for more than five million years into an infinite variety of buttes, tablelands, valleys and gorges, the badlands' rugged topography is one of the scenic wonders of the west.
Numerous wildlife species including mule deer, coyote, fox, bobcat and golden eagle can be seen in the wild, rugged and picturesque badlands. Perfect picnic spot overlooking
the Little Missouri River.
Petrified wood, fossil pits and natural wildflowers are scattered throughout the hills.
