of Killdeer, we are ready to guide you through 6000 acres of rugged badlands on a western adventure.

	At Badlands Trail Rides we have been "living the dream" for over 45 years. But unfortunately this dream has come to an end. We are no longer offering guided horseback riding through the majestic southwestern North Dakota badlands at Little Missouri State Park. To all our loyal customers over these past many years we want to say thank you for your business. We appreciated the oppotunity to get to know you. To the many of you that brought your children and then your grandchildren over the years, we feel honored to have watched your families grow, and be a part of that. To all the military, church, youth and adult groups that have come time and again, please know it also has been our pleasure to share the experience with you. We are so grateful to all of you. You enriched our lives and we hope we enriched yours. The memories we have will hopefully fill the void we are now experiencing. We hope in the future to put together our memories of this "amazing ride" we've been on for so many years. So if you are compelled to share a story or a photo with us that would be amazing. 	For pleasant riding, we suggest the following: ~Wear boots or shoes that protect your ankles ~Wear comfortably loose jeans or other long pants ~Wear a long-sleeved, lightweight shirt ~Have a good-fitting hat or cap for sun protection ~Use sunscreen ~Bring insect repellent ~Be prepared for a change in the weather ~Bring water
Reservations: Reservations are required. It's best to schedule several days in advance, but we will try to accommodate short notice ride request if space is still available on a scheduled ride. Please be at the riding stables 30 minutes before your scheduled ride time. All times are Mountain Time and rides leave at scheduled times. Please allow extra time for road construction delays on Highway 22. Road construction will affect travelers coming from both the north and south to our location. Do not use on-line mapping for directions to our location.
